just got a g5x1 cam (228/232 .588/.574 114lsa) should i keep it or get rid of it i want at least 400hp to the wheels with just bolts ons and cam. have a m6 with 4.10s only drive it on the weekends so drivability isnt a concern.i just dont think this cam will get me to the goal i want w/o heads

i would get rid of it. i can't see you hitting 400 with that cam.

It can if you have the patience to remove the heads and run a Cometic gasket .040 with a mill on the heads to get as close to 8.5>8.7 DCR.
Also Headers (I do not see them in your mods)

most people say to do the cam while you're doing the head swap, and might as well put new lifters in there while you're at it. I've seen some great number from the terminator heads in the dyno section. good luck with your project.
