ok so im not even sure if this thread is in the right area i think it is but anyways i was cleaning my car today and noticed the thing next to the ac condenser had been removed im wondering did i need that and what is it and what does it do ..thanks

 

A little more info please. Was it attached to the engine or the fender well?

I'm guessing it's the traction control system. Is it a black, ugly looking box with a couple of big ugly black cables coming off of it?

No problem and glad to hear you don't have the pansy *** TCS on your car. The real TCS is located in your right shoe.

 

Damn now I know too...mine was missing as well
