98 LS1 vs 99 Ls1 WTF ok guys i was standing at a local speed shop and these guys are saying that you can get more out of a 99 ls1 than a 98 ls1 what is the diff. if any or these guys all talk i have a 98 ls1.

no more than half a page down there is a thread discussing this and i am sure there r many other in this section that can answer ur questions w/ a simple search (if that feature is functional again?).

There are some differences, but none really affect performance besides that 98 heads don't flow as good, but if you get new ones or port them, then it doesn't really matter anyways. I love my 98 and I am making pretty good power IMO with the few mods that I have- take a look at my sig.
