Default 500rwhp - what to buy?

Ok im looking for a build up that will put me at 500rwhp and still maintain daily driveablility.

I was thinking about going with a procharger or turbo set up but dont have the money to set one up right now.

Right now i have around $1500 to spend, and I really would like to do FI in the next year or so.

So what are some good mods that could get as high NA as possible? While still being able to add a poweradder in the near future.

Nitrous, bottle heater, WOT switch, RPM Window switch, search in the nitrous section, be prepared to break stuff.

If you TRULY are planning on going FI soon, I would just save the money and put it towards the turbo/blower, because FI can get VERY expensive VERY fast.

This is very true, you dont want to halfass anything with a proper FI setup. It gets even more expensive if you have to buy things twice because of poor planning. Do a shitload of research, and then do some more.

If you are starting at point A, and point C is a turbo or blower FI setup, there is no midway point B for an NA setup. I mean, you COULD, but you'd end up selling your NA parts, like, can't really buy long tubes then use them in a turbo setup, etc, etc.. any cam that makes good NA power won't work well for FI, etc, etc..

Probably... 500 RWHP is alot out of a ls1 NA, you would probably have to 383 it, and in that case a 402 stoker LS2 is about the same price. Forced induction is the way you would have to go. Possibly lower your compression, a proper low overlap cam, and if you are doing a turbo then you will have to get lucky and find the proper manifolds or get a custom setup.

Like mentioned above, it is very expensive.
