Depends really. How much money you looking at spending, what mods do you already have and what are your goals & aims with the car?
98-00 Fbody's have the LS1 intake manifold and 01-02 cars have the Ls6 intake manifold.
The both use the same TB. The Ls6 is accepted as being a very good manifold and will produce more power/torque than the LS1 intake, mostly above 4500rpm.
To make the ost of any cam setup, you need to complete a full setup, this means induction (lid, possible CAI, TB and intake manifold). Also the exhuast should be looked at, usually LT's, mid pipe and a catback. There are plenty of other mods such as pulleys that will help also.
Most people just port the stock TB and run a LS6 intake manifold. This is a proven setup for modest outlay. The Ls1 intake would pose a restriction on a cammed motor.
On such a setup there is little point putting a larger TB on the intake, as the opening isn't large enough to make use of it. A company called TPIS will for a price take an LS6 intake and enlarge it to 90mm, but you'll need a new TB as well. This makes it pretty darn expensive. Although it has proven to show a gain.
If you are prepared to spend the money the FAST 90 intake and a 90mm TB (Nick Williams or PTM) will outperform the LS6. But this will cost you about $1000. Where as a Ls6 intake can be had new for ~$400.
SLP and Texas Speed & Performance sell the LS6 intake. If you think you're only going to go for a mild cam, then this is the route I'd go. The FAST 90 will show it's best gains at higher rpms, so a cam more suited to this powerband will be a better match.
Don't forget there may well be other parts to include, such as final drive gears, torque converter (if auto), fuel upgrades, oil pump, head studs and a tune.
