Default ls1/ls6 conversion to ls2 post???

does anyone have all the info in one thread to show how to convert from the ls1/6 motor to the ls2?? I am just needing what sensors and wiring etc need to be done.

well i know there is alot of wiring that needs to be changed so that is why i am hoping some one can provide all the good info in this thread.

This helped me somewhat. The only problem I hear are the knock sensors, but it's an easy fix. You just drill and tap the LS2 knock sensors holes to M10x 1.5 so it accepts the LS1/6 knock sensors. You just have to lenghten wires that's all. Some people just get rid of the knock sesnors all together, if you have a tuning program.

Cam position sensor if I remember correctly is the same just moved to the front, and of course you need to get the correct valley cover, front cover, etc..

Everything else will bolt on, heads,cam etc..
