When I raced you I had the following Mods:
Vararam Intake
Headers and full exhaust
LS6 Intake
ASP underdrive pulley
My car was a pretty strong runner the previous owner of my car ran 13.1 @ 111 with a vararam only, no other mods. I also had my buddy in the car, from the looks of it our cars were dead even, until I blew my motor . Yea it my car made a NASTY grind sound when I missed that shift and my rear wheels locked up and I almost went sideways at about 110 MPH. I was stuck at the gas station on square lake and telegraph from 11pm-2am waiting for a car hauler. We should run them again sometime. What kind of power are you making? O yea, when you asked "what do you got done to that thing?" I believe my exact words were "Just headers and ****."

i might get some dyno numbers after all... my tuner said that my car is too loud and he might have to tune it on a dyno for wot cause he said he does not want to go to jail.... lol

i got a dragracing on woodward too... i havent been back since and refuse to go back... that was like 6 months ago....

I almost got a drag racing ticket on woodward, instead he wrote me for 35 over . The only time I go to woodward is to park on the side. Good luck with the dyno. What other mods do you have besides exhaust and the ms4?

ah... nothing really... my intake will hold me back (ls1).. but i got a underdrive pully and a ziptie mod with k/n ... lol im not looking for huge numbers... but we shall see what turns up... if its not getting enough air and the injectors are not maxed out a 50 shot will give her what it needs...

sounds like my car with a Torquer 2 cam and longtubes with no cats and loudmouth waaaaaay too loud

that MS4 is hitting a lick, sounds awsome, good luck getting it tuned and keep us posted on the dyno numbers

damn I was close in my recolection. no idea what kind of power. lots of people are over 400RWHP with similar mods, but I ported my heads/intake so Im not goin to reach the same #s Im sure as my mods and pro ported heads. Ive been plannin on getting some dyno runs just to see where its at, and to see if it would be worth it to get a dyno tune. my car has gone a best of 12.09 at milan on a good launch in good cool air. early this summer I went back to milan and was running 12.3's in 90deg. heat. there's lots of things I need to get matched better and finish that will make a big diff. and the conv. in my car now is only like a 2800 stall. my new edge 3800 convertor should be here tomorrow and will make a HUGE diff. plus, I did not have the clutch lockup switch in yet. that was good for like .15 and 2-3 mph in my iroc and that was not as fast as this car. so Im hopeing it'll run 11.6's in nice cool air and a good launch with those two changes alone. also, the tune in my car now is for the same setup, except for 350cid, not 383 like my engine is. so I know there is more there to be had. but it drives perfect still so I havent worried about it yet.

insanekamel, when are you goin to get a dyno tune done? from who? very curious what it puts down on a near stock car like yours.

Sounds pretty good. I just got my MS4 cammed car going again tonight(bad cam position sensor) I had mine tuned and it runs good no idle searching doesn't attempt to die when pulling to a stop even with A/C on. Trust me you will like the car alot more once you get it tuned. Mines not bad at all to drive in traffic I have a M6/stock gears. I met my friend that has one of my old cammed LT1 cars we stopped at the local hangout and the cars drew quiet a crowd.

hopefully by wednesday it will be tuned... its going to get tuned by a local vette tuner...

well, let me know how it turns out. Im about to get a cam for my dads 02 TA and have C.A.R.S. tune it. he is right down the road from me in waterford. he's got a mustang dyno and does lots of vette's and Fbody's.
