Default SDPC custom cam's

Search is not working for some reason.. just keeps giving a blank page..

anyways... Anyone using the SDPC Custom cams? Particularly the Z+220.

Im not a drag racer.. and Im not looking for a loppy, huge hp unstreetable cam.. This cam's specs look pretty good to me for an everyday car, and weekend canyon runs

220/224 .551" .551" 114 LSA

I like it because its slightly bigger than the HOT cam and not too radical, and the LSA seems pretty good.. and its not too expensive compaired to other brands

anyone using this?

Ive got one. Not dyno'd yet. It works best with 11:1 compression which gives around 8.5:1 DCR. Id go with 1.8 rockers if you have the p2v clearance to get 0.583 lift.

There is a new TFS cam which is under $300 from summit $269 from memory, similar spec but 0.575 lift.

Im happy with mine for my heavy DD Holden. Good low down power and broad power range. It has 56* overlap so has a nice mild lope. Idles at 740rpm, fairly lazy ramp rates so spring life should be good.

I have the cam card if you want detailed spec's its a crane cam with custom lobes by the looks. IVC is 41 with the +4 ground in.

I'd like to see the cam card, I'm looking at that cam to maybe put in my truck.

Thanks,

Bill
