Default Contemplating g5x3 108 lsa

Just like it says I'm thinking about a g5x3 on a 108 lsa with 4 degrees advance ground in. This is for my daily driver that isnt such a daily driver anymore. Its more like my sunday racer now so I'm willing to put up with more big cam hassles. Lou has a 110 lsa already on the shelf I think but we were talking about taking a little dip into the deep end and see how the water is. I'll have a 9" with 3.89's and a forged 347 and my 6 speed in a full weight t-top Camaro. Think the 108 is to much?

nope.... Lil SD tune and it'd chunk pretty sweet.

I've got a MS4 that spec'd out to 109.5+3 and I'm fired up about how it'll run.

i think to make a 108 lsa more usable, you'd need more duration. i spec'd out a 346 cam using a 108 lsa that looked like this: 238/246 108+1. i was looking for a tabletop 6-7k that came on HARD around 5,500. i think this combo would've done that. i think using a 108 lsa on the x3's duration would be too peaky.

At what point is to much overlap detrimental to making power?
I have a tr224 112lsa +4 right now. Makes great power from 2000rpms up to 6300 rpms. I want to make more power without loosing to much torque to 6800 rpms now where before I wanted it all under 6k. So its time for a cam change (or maybe not) and I've been looking at the g5x3 and thinking about tweaking it a little to make it more street friendly for a heavier Camaro. The 108 was a semi crazed idea thrown out there by Lou. I dont want it to peak to much and then fall off the planet as well as not loose to much up top. SO I'm messing with the ICL and LSA trying to figure what would work best with my combination.
