Yet Another Cam Question This is what I plan on running, for a fast street car with some track. I want a lumpy, intimidating idle, so that is fine with me. Here is what the engine will be:
402 Forged Stroker
150-300hp nitrous(used every once in awhile, not everyday)
Patriot Stage III Heads 2.08 Int/1.60exh 59cc 11:1CR
1.7:1 Roller Rockers
Stock Hyd Roller Lifters
Full Headers
True Duals
I was thinking of getting the kit I found which comes with the heads, cam, and roller rockers, this is the specs for the cam: at .050, 232 int/230exh, 580/580, 110 lsa. Is that aggressive enough to get most of what I can get out of the engine?
i am wanting a pretty aggresive cam, but not so much that my bottom end is horrible. Any good suggestions on what cam i shoud use and how i should set it?If there is a better cam for me then that is what I want to get. Thanks for your help, robert

i don't have any suggestions, but i am running a larger cam then that one in my stock blocked 346, with a stroker motor, it will "suck" up larger cams easily. a 240ish/240ish cam on something like that motor will be similar to a TR224 cam in a 346.
