Default Milled Heads????

ok i have a set of lq4 heads with port work done to them. i am wanting to use them on my stock bottom end with a large cam. i know they will lower my compression but i want to have them milled down. so i guess my question is how much can i mill the heads down and not get piston to valve contact with a 609 lift cam???
thanks

This is an excellent question. I'm interested in the answer as well.

max lift does not dictate p to v clearance, since the lifter will be riding over the side of the lobe when the pistons is at TDC. Duration and LSA will be more useful, but we can only ball park it still. Theres no way to calculate it. You really need to measure or clay.

Yeah I meant the interesting part was if you can mill the 72cc truck heads down to a usable size. I'm doubting it since it'll have a thinner deck or whatever you call that part.
