Default FAST intake question

Just wondering if it's beneficial to install this intake given my current setup. My car is basically stock with the current "mods": free mods, plugs n wires, granatelli MAF, MTI lid, 160 stat, hpp3, Borla cat-back... What kind of gains should I expect to see? Any other suggestions for upcoming mods? I definitely want heads/cam but that'll be a lil bit based on my current financial situation - BROKE..

What should I do next? Thanks for any and all input!!

No, before that i would definitely get LTs, TSP has a good deal on the Pacesetters. That and a good Y pipe.

agree with getting headers.
just about any header will give you around 20hp.
the fast intake will be lucky to give you 15hp and most of gain is at the top of the tach. headers helped mine everywhere.

Thanks! What should I do after the headers then? Should I get a TB and intake?

After headers> stall if auto (if not clutch)> Cam > Ditch MAF and HPP3 (same time as cam)> get a good dynotune.

I agree as well.....get the headers and y pipe. Unless you want to deal with rasp and your hotrod sounding like a Kenworth get a catted Y with that Borla....trust me.

Long story short....I have Jethot Lt, Mufflex ORY, and Borla. When I started my car for the first time after my T3 install it sounded like Warren Johnson's Pro Stock.....thats a good thing....then it sounded like a Kenworth on the street.....not a good thing. I have since bought a QTP cutout for the Borla and need to install it. David from TR assured me Borla's get a bad rap around here and it will sound just fine running through the muffler for the street. We shall see......
