i am gonna get a cam back and was wonering where can i take it to get fixed? regrounded? regrinded? local machine shop? napa? online??

I would never have a cam welded and reground, just opt for a new (or used) replacement of your current cam ... or go bigger.

I think the cams undergo a special hardening process AFTER they are ground. Not sure though. I'd just get another cam.
