Default ***Need help on custom build***

I am in the process of building a forged LS1 using 3.903 Lunati pistons with -2cc reliefs, and 6.125 rods, and stock crank. What I am wanting to achieve, is a car that will run really great on the track but is still able to be street driven. I am basically going full bolt-ons/cam and hoping for mid 11's (HOPING).

I have a 98 m/6 Z and I will be using either 4.10/4.30 gears with a 26" tire. I have future plans of using n2o, but not really sure just how big of a shot I am going to end up using, and when I do start to spray I will then switch to a 28" tire. As far as getting a cam tuned to my 98, I have no doubt that I will be satisfied on that end. I am looking to get a custom grind cam to achieve what I am looking for. Since I am no master at computing cam spec's, I figured I would post this up and allow some pro's at this give me their opinions. Feel free to ask any question about my set-up.

Thank You:

Chris Gage

4-6 degree split favoring exhaust
110-111 LSA
XER lobes
use intake duration to determine power band

346/347/348"
224/228 110 + 0 XER or LSK if you can get a decent spring
DCR: 9.0:1 <= don't worry what the SCR just make sure your DCR is right.
1 3/4" headers ~28" runners
3" X pipe as close to the header as possible
2.5" duals

What is going to be the possiblity of track times on this cam (ballpark figure)

I plan on racing full wieght for awhile with 4.10 gears. The exhuast is just going to be LT's with a 16-18" extension the a race muffler. I can get any spring I need to. My goal is to be as close to a mid 11 with this set-up as possible. I guess if I need to shift by 7000 RPM's then I would.

Cam science SUCKS!!!!!!!!! after reading alot of tech about cam specs, I think I know less then I did before.
