Engine hydrolocked..what do I need
To make a long story short my car hydrolocked and then knocked a chunk out of the top of the oil pan and very bottom of the block on the passenger side by the oil sensor. I bought a longblock, however it didn't come with anything on the bottom of the block and I'm very unfamiliar with the bottom end.
So I am ordering an oil pan and windage tray so far...is there something else I should get (new gaskets, bolts, etc)? I will post pics up tonight of the hole in the pan/block.
Thanks ahead for any help!

The new oil pan should come with a new pan gasket riveted on it, you can reuse the front and rear cover gaskets but change the front and rear seals and don't for get to remove the oil galley plug behind the rear cover and you will need a small freeze plug that goes behind the front cover were the oil galley plug is in the rear. don't remember what size i believe its around 3/8" to 1/2" freeze plug . When you tare down you old block you will see what I'm talking a bout . Just look the block over real good and remove and replace.
