Default I have an idea...

What do you all think about this? Just throwing ideas around at the moment.

I've been reading up on the L92 heads and they seem like a great piece, especially for the price. Can't really beat it it seems. But you need a 4'' bore to utilize these heads.

My question is, could I get a LS2 block, and use my rotating assembly from my LS1, minus the pistons, so I can use the L92 heads?

The rods and crank on the Ls1 and Ls2 are the same I believe, 3.62 stroke and a 6.098 rod length. What do you think?

I don't know enough to know if it works, but it would be a killer combo....

Have you looked into what kind of intake you'd have to have with those heads? The intake is the costly part, not the heads. To answer your question though, you certainly could transfer your parts over to the LS2 block and it would work.

I've looked into the intake, I believe it's the L92/L76, and bd-sdpc said the complete intake, including rails 90mm TB, etc. is 528. But that's the big thing. I figure this would be a good budget build for awhile.
