Default question about heads

i was thinking of buying afr 225cc heads for my ta. my question is how do i determine which size combustion chamber i need? it has two choices 62cc and 72cc combustion chambers? obviously the more air you can stuff into the engine the more hp you will make but i wasnt sure so i figured id ask you guys for some advice. my setup is going to a daily driver/ weekend cruise/strip no huge numbers im going for 500rwhp. any help would be appreciated.

62cc.

If you choose 72cc your compression will be lower than stock.

To get to 500 RWHP you are going to need some more cubes. If you stick with a 346 ci motor don't use the 225cc AFR's. They are not designed for stock 5.7L, you will loose some bottom end with runners that big (on AFR's). If you don't go stroker then you will need a power adder to get to 500 RWHP. Good luck with your quest.
