I ran 122MPH on 26.5" ET Street Radials, GTO. 3400 stallie and 3.73 gears, ported LS1 heads, open headers. Killer idle...

Personally, I would retard the cam 4* based on their specs. or get one ground with 1-2* advance only. 918s or duals are a must.
i'd go with the PRC dual springs, 918's are rated at .600 lift, and the lift on "the beast" is right at .600, i would go with the PRC's for a peice of mind, and to be safe.

Thanks for the input. Im putting it up there with the other cams that I have looked into. If anything, maybe this thread will answer a few other peoples questions about this cam when or if they use the search feature here. I looked but found nothing so thought id ask the people who know the answer to my questions...or at least ls1 questions...If anyone can answer some of my exam questions then ill take that too, lol.

If you are using Crane rockers, don't go with the PRC's. My understanding is they have a harmonic that the Crane rockers don't like. I would stick with the 918's noting NBMgreg's comment on lift or consider the Crane 833 spring setup.

well that knocks out PRC's

i have heard of people running 918's right up to the limit, and have no problems... i have also heard people say 918's are rated to .625 lift, so it all varies, but if it were me, i'd go with something a little more safe than 918's, like vettenuts says, crane 833 setup, i wouldn't wanna push the limits too hard.
