guys, trying to figure this out for myself. how bout clueing a fella in on all the stock specs nec. to figure this out? Im still waiting on my cam card so I cant just put that info on here for you to figure out for me. as for cyl. CC, are they looking for combustion chamber size? or runner size? IM goin to assume chamber size right? whats the stock MLS head gasket bore diam? 4.0? thanks.
chris
Being that i know this is a 382. I got 11.4 SCR and 8.5 DCR. I calculated with 3.9inch bore and 4inch stroke.
Beast96Z, Can you check my calculations ?
With the calculator I posted, I get 11:8 SCR and 8:85 DCR. If the piston comes above the deck, you have to enter the - number.

Not sure on the exact stock specs, if search worked, you could probally find it. You need to know your combustion chamber volume. 62cc's in this guys case. You'll also need the formula for calculating IVC at .006". It's not on your cam card. That formula is : Advertised duration divided by 2, plus your ICL, minus 180. That will give you the IVC for the last blank. The site says just add 15 to .050", but that is horrendusly off, and basically a guess.
