Cam and Heads for a lighter car I am thinking about building a Factory Five Racing GTM. I'll be putting an LS1 into a 2300 pound, mid engine, rear wheel drive car, and I am thinking about upgrading the cams and head. The issue is I am not sure what is "streetable" in a car well over 3000 pounds will be in a car just over 2000 pounds. Also I wouldn't mind losing low end torque either, since there will be more than enough in such a light car to begin with. I have tried to do a search, but haven't found others with a 'problem' like mine.
Also I would like to spend no more than $3500 for now, and would like to get as far over 400 whps that I can. Think it is possible?
What cams would you recommend for my set up? Any particular heads to go along with them?

Well, you can go more hardcore with the cam choice b/c of the low weight, as you said. However, I'm not sure what your 3500 is including. Don't forget you will need the engine, the computer, the fuel system, the exhaust, and tuning. Good luck though, it should be fast as hell!
