Default Junkyard 6.0L iron block?

Is it feasible to think that I could find a 6.0L iron block at a junkyard so that I could start a motor build in my garage?
If so, what years of what vehicles should I be searching for?

I would look for an 02+ LQ9 motor. These come from any of the Denali vehicles and the cadillac escalade.

If you are rebuilding it a LQ4 would work too out of a 2500.

The LQ4 from 2001 truck is a great platform. These were found in 1500HD, 2500 trucks. The LQ9 was found in Escallades and Denali XLs. My 2002 1500HD has the LQ4 with 317 aluminum heads factory.

Was 200 just for the block or the whole motor?

whole thing, I have parted it out and made my money back. I still have the block and the main bearings, everything else is gone.
