Im currently looking for a set of ported heads for my 01 ss. I'm really impressed by MTI's stage 2r heads. the pics in there website look phenomenal. i do have a question for you heads gurus. The intake runners look really smooth almost like a polished finish. i know thats how you want the exhaust to look but shouldnt the intake runners have some texture on them for better fuel atomization? i have also been told that because of the injector position in the intake that a textured intake runner isn't all that critical, is this true? i really appreciate the help. thank you

 

Better have the int runners with some texture to them for the reasons you stated.
