Default Where to find 3.898 bore head gaskets?

Im looking for some good head gaskets for a 3.898 bore. prefer somewhere between thickness of .042 to .05 compressed. Cant find any for the life of me. The material isnt too important as long as its designed for high performance applications.

Let me know if yall see any!

PS: At what kind of power should I look to upgrade from stock gaskets? Im planning an engine build up and am trying to make sure ive got all the parts available to me, and that I can get the right CR before I make any purchases. Thanks!

.052-.054 compressed. Many people are running 4-500 rwhp on stock head gaskets. It's mainly more of a concern when going forced induction or nitrous to upgrade.

you can call www.cometic.com and they have a mls gasket in a 3.910 bore in any thickness you need. you want to go a little bigger on the bore of the gasket to give yourself a little room because of the torque specs.

Ah.. I will be using nitrous, but under a 200 shot, and the engine wont likely make more than 350hp anyways. Think this will be a situation I should upgrade to the cometics then?

Looking around looks like only good options are the cometics. 150$ a pair though, damn lol. Im not used to gaskets being so pricey!

Thanks a lot guys, looks like I can end up with an even 10:1 CR for this engine, should work out great!

Also keep in mind the gaskets are reuseable unlike the stock ones.
