Default Crank position sensor.. can it effect car shift points?

well i just got done with my motor swap and all.. and i know i have to do a CPS relearning process on a tech II.. everything is running great on my car except when it hits around 5800-6K RPMS... it tags the rev limiter almost everytime in my A4... i did the relearn process once on the tech II buit i think it could have been messed up..

if its not that what else could be my problem? all the power is there and everything... only problem is top end shifting.. i can't think of anything else.. no service engine codes as of yet.. all new plugs/wire/ and all.. very clean motor.. runs very smooth..

let me know what you guys think.. Possible Bad O2? let me know!

Thanks guys
