A while back, I read a post where a guy talked about having a custom ground cam for his LS1. He mentioned that he "forgot to have the 4 degrees advance ground in."

This piqued my interest, because i'm having my engine builder send off for a custom cam ground to his specs. My question is, should I mention this 4 degrees of advance to him? Are all LS1 cams ground with 4 degrees advance? What does this really mean?

Check the cam guide sticky at the top of the page. There is a lot of good info there. Advance is dynamic based on what goals/combo you have.
