Default Does anyone know what cam this is?

This came out of a 02 SS anniversary camaro motor I bought but is this the factory cam or aftermarket? [IMG][/IMG]

Got a 2002 factory stock cam..Looking at it now(replaced with bigger cam).
It says 1724
S 14
2145..
Hope that helps, or someone with more knowledge can jump in..

Yeah I took it out bc I put a bigger cam too and i'm not real familiar with them. Thanks for the help, maybe somebody will jump on it that knows.

From your pic..Identical stamping..

Will defer to more knowledgeable people, but looks identical to the factory 2002 LS1 cam I am looking at..

I'm pretty sure it is the factory cam then they prolly just number them different or something. Is it worth any money?

Worth much? I figure about $100.00 at most.
New cam's about $350.00..Not a lot of demand for the factory cam.
Just keeping mine as a "memento"..

Bet that 224 Cam is more fun right?

Well I bought the motor and put the new cam in when we built it so never drove it in my truck then. But yeah I like that 224... or well I did until I spun a bearing this past weekend.

Looks like the factory cam because it has a "2d" bar code stamping on it (the checkerboard looking marking).
