Arrow 383

Alright i have done some research and have looked threw the search but still have some questions on what i want to do. I have been a member on ls1tech for over 3 years and on 2 different screen names and have learned enough to build my last 2 forged 347s with the info learned on here. I have a ls1 block in my hands right now that i want to turn into a 383 stroker that can handle a good amount of nitrous (300-400 shot). There is a cam for sale that i am looking at in the for sale section right now but im not sure if its to small for what i want or even if its what i want im, clueless as of now. I want to be able to drive the car on the weekends and maybe the occasional every other day but im not worried about drivability or gas milage. I want to make a 9 sec car with juice. What heads would you go with considering its more cubes then a 346 and i know it will matter on cam? What pistons would handle that amount of nitrous? Will the forged lunati rods (6.125) work for what i want and what size pistons will i need. Also will my crank work, its a forged lunati crank that is in a 347. I want to go to a sheet metal intake with a direct port nitrous setup. The only thing i need to handle all the power is a rear end thats on the way. Im looking for close to 500rwhp on motor and 900 on spray is it possible?

sorry for the so unarranged post im in a hurry.

you will need a different crank to make it a 383.the 383 cranks are 4" in stroke.as for pistons diamond makes a great nitrous piston and so does wiseco.heads wise i'd get a set of either tfs or afr 225s with a cam in the 23x/24x range.since you allready have a great crank and rods you might be better off getting a 6.0 block and just boring it out .030 and get a set of the diamonds/wiseco for a 370 cube iron block monster that would be great for a big hit of juice.

I know were a 6.0 is so that would also work. What kind of power are those motors making with all the good stuff (big heads, cam, good flowing intake)? I did a search on guys running a 370 and didnt find alot but looks like most people are making close to 500rwhp and thats what im hoping for on motor but will be hard for me with a th400 and a 4400 stall.

(rhetoric)Man...why are the TFS so bad ***!? I am wanting them more and more everyday. Visa/Mastercard will allow it too. That is the worst part.

no first hand experience but the more dyno numbers i see with the tfs225s on a 408 make me want to put them on my 408 BAD but i'm hoping the katech stage3 heads i have will be decent performers.
