6.0 stroker clearance?
6.0 stroker clearance? I was wondering if I could put a 4.1'' stroker crank in a 6.0 truck block without any machine work? If it would need to be machined what would something like that cost? What the displacement be with a 4.040 bore?

Bore x Bore x .7854 x stoke x # of cylinders = cubic inch displacement
Cubic inch displacement divided by 61.02 = Liters.
looks like it comes up to 420 or so cubic inches if I did it right. THAT would be a true torque monster and you'd never need to twist it hard either and a mild dose of spray would be killer!! I bet you'd have to notch the crap out of the sleeves though to swing any kind of a decent rod in the hole.
Thanks guys, I might just go with a stock crank then. Although I do like the sound of a 420 cubic inch monster it was going to be for a blower car. I just seen someone selling the crank for cheap.
