Default adding LS6 intake, need to retune comp.?

Like it says, I am adding an LS6 intake. I had my comp. reprogrammed by Ed Wright when the H/C package was done. Do I need to have it reprogrammed when I put the new intake on?

Unless you are ditching the EGR or making some other change, re-flashing the PCM should not be necessary.

If you e-mail Ed, he usually will get back to you right away. I asked him about changing from the stock MAF to the Pace LS6 MAF and he said that I would need to reprogram. I'm just going to wait till I do the heads and then program for both. <img src="images/icons/cool.gif" border="0">

The only reason you would need to reprogram it is if you werent putting the EGR back on and dont like having an SES light. Performance will be the same. Just depends if you like have the SES light or not. Same thing as deleteing the cats and using o2 simms or not.
