As stated above my engine is running rich at WOT(11.8:1), but at idle its normal(according to GM specs.)14.1:1. When I dyno'd my car, the mechanic there said that 13.0 was perfect for proper A/F ratio.
Now to lean out my car what steps are needed? if I add a lid would the cars computer be smart enough to actually keep the idle Air fuel ratio proper to GM specs, and lean out my car at WOT? or is the only way to fix this is with a MAFT?
With the MAFT is it possible to use it on more then one car, I haven't fully researched it yet.

Each car needs its own MAFT....
Because it plugs right into your MAF sensor so you can adjust Lean/Rich
To lean you out some you can do the following:
Get a Lid
Port the MAF
Descreen the MAF (if 02's even come with screens)
Free Ram air
Or any other thing to feed air into the engine...
If none of those work...get the MAFT...Porting the MAF should solve it...but in some cases make it too lean..

How many miles on the car?
I have an '01 which is basically the exact same engine. At 1200 miles my O2s were in the .935-.950 range. Basically running rich. After almost 2200 miles, O2s are sitting in the .880-.890 range. Just Right....
