Is it possible to install a fuse of some sorts on the ignition wire that can act as a kill switch? I want to be able to disable the ignition when I want to and I was given this idea from a guy at work who uses them on his second gen camaro. Can a stereo shop install one?

You could more easily slice into your clutch switch. leave it open and the car will not be able to be started.
