Default 80mm BBK throttle body

I ordered one and it's on backorder. Are there any problems with the TB? i've heard that some people actually lose horsepower. others are having idle problems

TIA,

Khris

I got a friend who has one...the only thing he enjoys about it is the whistle you get when you have it...

You really don't need it unless your heads/cam etc etc etc

We had a dyno day and a H/C car test the BBK out and lost 4 rwhp, granted no time for the computer to relearn.

If you can still cancel, do it!!! I have one, and it's been nothing but problems. When the car warms up, the plate sticks to the tb and it is really annoying. Not to mention that it makes your gas pedal weigh about a hundred pounds. I'm thinking about ordering MMS's ported TB.

I agree. Waste of time and money.

I had mine on for three days and finally sold it on ebay just to get rid of it.

Khris, I saw a 4 1/2 RWHP lose with it compared to my home Port and Polished one the day at the dyno. But it looks cool as hell. If you want yours PP let me know I will do it for 75.00 and I will take it off and install it back on as well. C-Ya Mike H.

cool beans Mike. I'll let ya know. as of now i have no sticking problems with the plate. however, i do agree with you on the 100 lbs feeling. but in a way i like it cause when you stomp it responds better IMO. another thing i like about it is the whistle sound.
