Will these heads work?
yes these are 243 heads, the same as an ls6 head. I'm not sure if they have the light weight valves in them or not. I'd spend a little extra money to have one of our sponsors do a port polish and valve job and put a bigger cam in your car if you are bothering to do the head swap.

the combustion chamber is smaller than your current LS1 head, so you would have a higher compression ratio, this would not be good for boost, but it would be a very nice set up for a decent sized cam and a small (100-175) nitrous shot. That and some suspension rear end and safety equippment should get you into the tens. It gets expensive fast though so watch out.
