ls2 chain ,ls1 motor

I put an LS-2 chain on my LS-1 motor and now the car sounds like its got a blower.Has anyone ever heard of a chain sounding like a gear drive?

is that all you did? the chain shouldn't cause that at all. something else has got to be wrong.

I'm running the ls2 chain on my car and it doesn't make any extra noise. Not sure what the problem is but I wouldn't keep driving it like that.

I made the same upgrade when I did the oil pump and I've got no issues after 4000 miles...

they have the blow-off valve sound emitters on ebay to complete the project

pull the belt off and start it for few seconds, start the process of elimination
