Default MTI Stage 2 Heads

I'm thinking about getting a set for Xmas. What kind of valvetrain is included in the package? I'm thinking about getting a custom grind Comp Cam 224/.591/114 to go with it. What kind of retainers, springs, valves, rods, roller rockers, and lifters are included? Thanks!

Default Re: MTI Stage 2 Heads

MTI Stage 2 heads come with 2.055" Intake and 1.60" Exhaust valves (Ferrea), Custom dual valvespring setup (Isky springs, custom Titanium retainers). These springs are good for 0.600" lift cams

Rockers? Stock ones are used. You can upgrade to Jesel Street/Strip rockers though.

Lifters? Stock ones are used, but Comp makes a replacement.

Pushrods? MTI has custom 1-piece (no ***** at end) Chromoly pushrods for their applications.

Hope that helps

I think the MTi dual springs are good for up to .610 or .620 lift.

They are what I'm using now on my MTI Stage 2's. And lordy do those heads work good. (IMO)
