I just wanted to thank everyone on here for all the tech help with my cam install, everything went smoothly over the weekend and the car sounds awesome. So far I've put around 200 miles on the new cam and valvesprings without a bit of a problem. The cam has a nice choppy idle but doesn't affect daily driveability and it pulls like nothing I've ever driven. My Z-28 has a different personality, it's just plain wicked!!! I also noticed my car is louder now with the new cam, it get's really raspy around 2,000 RPM's and pulls harder and harder all the way to redline. I definately need a tune though because the transmission shifts too soon at WOT, the cam is just starting to come alive when the thing upshifts. Also just from driving around town it feels like I've lost some low end grunt, not much but enough to notice. Once it get's over 3,000 RPMs it come alive and pins me against the seat. I'll have some dyno numbers soon for the Patriot 226 cam, again thanks for the help!!!
