I swapped out my LS1 intake for an LS6 that I took off of a wrecked car. Little did I know there was a bit of plastic shrapnel from the broken airbox stuck in the new intake. Needless to say it found its way into the number 7 cylinder and made a nice tapping sound. Soo....
With 115,000 on the clock, while the engine is out I will be freshening it up. New bearings and rings and a slight change in the setup. I'm going back up w/ an MS4, LS7 lifters, Spec 3+, and stock heads that I am porting myself. The heads are ported and all parts are purchased and will be installed as time permits.
I'll be sure to post some of those long awaited track results as soon as I'm back up and running. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks.
