a buddy of mine has a 94 impala and he just bought a ls1 motor. hes looking to hit mid 12's with stock weight. along with all the bolt ons, what would get the best heads and cam set up to get him there? he also wants drivability to not be horrible. nothing like the trex so i was thinking ms4. imput please!!!

 

Should be very doable with a good heads/cam package. Wont even have to be very extreme. MS4 is still a pretty big cam that will probibly have some drivability issues if not tuned perfect. But with the right tune it will be good. Also depends on what his definition of streetable is, I could put up with alot from a cam, however some people cant.

 

yeah i no but what combos would you go with and plus he doesnt want anything bigger than a 3200 stall. and i told him thats small for a ms4 but he said hes gonna spray out the hole. more input please

 

Go with some cnc'd ls6 heads or afr's. i agree 3200 is a little small.
