SES light question

SES light question friday afternoon i descreened my MAF , the car ran great all weekend, incuding a couple of good streetraces. sunday night while just cruising down the interstate, the SES light came on. does it usually take a couple of days for a code to trip the light if you have MAF problems? ive only had the car two weeks so i dont have an autotap yet.

Re: SES light question just drove the car to get lunch , after about a mile SES light goes off. who knows, i thought once the light comes on it was there until you reset it?

The codes will store for a minimum of 50 ignition cycles.
Then, if the fault does NOT present itself again, it will clear from PCM memory.Besttoyou, c4c5
