My rev limiter is going to be set at 6800, but thats only bc of my Vinci Tuner auto rev limiter on "Cam 4 Selection", which happens to be 228/232. It should do fine to spin 6300-6500. TSP said its going to have one hell of an idle and pull hard in the mid range.

I am torn between the exact cam you posted, and a torquer 2, I think thats going to be a sweet setup.

Man im excited! This is my first time doing a cam and i've only been researching and asking stupid questions now for about 18 months, lol. Im less than excited, however, about the dyno tuning abilities of my Vinci tuner...not that there's anything wrong with it, i just wish i could make tuning adjustments in increments, not accross the board. Oh well, the worst thing that could happen is me selling the tuner and getting a custom tune.
I've finally got the $ together to do everything that i want/need to do with a first time cam install. I talked to TSP yesterday and they gave me the thumbs up. Now i just need to buy a freakin LS6 intake...damnit! WHY CANT I HAVE A STREAMING LS1TECH FOR SALE SECTION GOING TO MY CELLPHONE!!!!! I'm never on top of this stuff!

But yeah the custom cam should be nice.

Also, they said that the 228/232, .588/.595 110+4 (Comp XE-R) isnt going to be a dream to tune...hince my lack of faith in my "accross the board" tuner. But, once its dialed in it should be exactly what I want: Violent Midrange!
