Who all has done this? Can I get a step by step on how to do it.

Just follow everything that comes from the exhaust manifolds. That is the AIR and EGR stuff.

Just start taking away whatever it is attached too.

You will get a SES light when you do this though.

You can clear that code with atap if u have it though. Although blocking off and removing egr will make u fail emissions miserably wont it? that is if you are worried about that <img src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" border="0" alt="[jester]" />

I dont see how they will know if you have a EGR or not. Certain cars dont have them. Like newer model Fbodies. So how will they know?

Well if you get Dynatech's you're going to have to get rid of that stuff, no big deal though. If you have an 01 you dont have a EGR anyway.

oh well i wasnt talking about failing a visual inspection, I thought it would make u fail the sniffer test. I guess i could be wrong? <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

You can clear the code with atap but it will come right back on unless you have it programmed out of the PCM. LS1 Edit sure would be nice. I would love to get rid of my air pump and EGR crap.
