Default tuning maft questions

Installing my maft tommorow and looking for some help. I have the basic bolt ons with stock 99 injectors, headers, ory, lid, tr6, whisper maf ends and nos 5177. I will be using a gm tech 2 scanner. In you guys experience where should I start. What am i looking for and how will I know when its right. I am familiar with the tool and terms just kind of intimidated I guess. Also will be installing svo 30 lbs injectors soon. How will this affect my tuning. Anyone running this setup who doesnt mind helping would be greatly appreciated.
