20.5k on the clock. The wierd thing is the car has a problem right now to where it starts and runs pretty good. If I rev the car above 2000 rpm's it starts to run horrible-shaking and shuttering. If I turn the car off and on a few times, by the second or third time I start the car it runs fine again. I was thinking maybe a lifter but I am just looking for anything right now to look at and my be nothing that's why I posted. I will get a video tomorrow and see what you guys think then. The link in this original post goes to my very original post in the tuning section which explains everything that I have looked at and done. Thanks for your help.

if it's the "sewing machine sound when you start your car"...that would be piston slap, you can read all about it here...they even have some sound clips

Well today I had pretty much decided to buy a new pcm and have it retuned to see what that brought. I took the pcm out to get the numbers off of it and when I reinstalled it I figured since I disconnected the battery maybe a miracle happened so I started it again to see. Car ran the same and actually the car was able to be driven around a little unless you went over 2k rpm's but over the last few days it has been getting worse and now it barely runs. I got the DTC's and got p0106 Manifold Absolute Pressure and p0135 Sensor Heater C ircuit Malfuntion Bank 1 Sensor 1. Which two of the three codes I got a few days ago which make me think the PCM is probably good. What do you guys think? Also, I have replaced the MAP sensor so why would I get this code? Would anything else cause this code to get thrown-(02 sensors)??? Would the sensors cause the car to run this bad and should I buy them instead of the computer first. THanks

Also the sound that I was hearing yesterday is gone now and everything under the hood is normal sewing machine sounds now. I don't know- could be me.

already did and replaced them but they didn't look bad at all. I even took them to a parts store to get their opinion and they said the same. This reminds me.. i put the iridiums in which were pre gapped at .40 the last set I had I gapped them at .55. Should I have gapped these at .55 even though they are recommended and pregapped at .40. I know that's not the problem but could add to it I guess.

i just keeps getting better. Everytime I start the car it gets worse now. It is barely running, shaking like hell and a few pops out of the exhaust. I am almost afraid to start it again in fear of really messing it up, it seems that the motor is coming apart its running so bad. My predator is also showing no Fuel Trims. What would cause that?

take it to a shop and tell them everything that was done. who did it how and when.

I've had this problem before when I replaced my LS1 intake for the LS6 intake. I had the exact sound when starting the car up. What the problem was I didn't torque the bolts on the intake to its correct specs. They were really loose. I'd try to tighten them up just a little more to see if you can get the seals to set. If that doesn't work, I would think that the seals need to be replaced on the intake.

how long has it been sence you changed you fuel filter and check your fuel pis. This all could make the car run like crap. my fuel pump went out at 50k. but start at the filter and work back from there.

Well I replaced the 02 sensors tonight with vette rear's and still the same. I have repalced the plugs, wires look great, replaced the map sensor and checked the maf which is clean. Pulle the valve covers and springs look good and are very strong. I still hear the tongue clicking sound with the same lope of the cam which I thinkis a new sound. Is this car sensitive to the brand of map sensor. Does it have to be a ac delco because that is not the brand that I put in it. The only thing I can think to do now is replace the pcm which came yesteday in the mail. Can you all think of what this might be??? It is driving me nuts. I don't think it is the fuel system because you can smell the fuel. Also when I plugged in my Predator after the new 02's I still didn't get any fuel trim readings until after it ran for about 2 min. Is this normal. The other day I had all reading exept fuel trim and they never came on. The trims tonight after they came on bounced but were as low as -12's. What do you think?

this is true also, replacing an intake is not slap it on process. you can loose a gasket, pinch one, or improper torque specks. take it to a shop with a smoke machine to do a leak test.

I don't know if this makes a difference in your reply but I have not touched the intake, it's still the stock one. The car just started acting up and has gotten worse.

The car is in open loop until it comes up to temp- and will do many things to do so. Is your car coming up to full temp on any of these instances? where do you live- what is the ambient temp outside. I know my car acts funny sometimes when I start it and its super cold. Give some more detail.

PS
You did a camswap and didnt touch the intake at all? Interesting.
