Default teflon sealant for temp sensor

I drilled and tapped the one piece above my oil filter for a temperature sensor sending unit.

It is 1/8'' npt, should I use teflon tape or loctite on this? I dont want it leaking oil. My friend tapped it for me and did a great job but im worried the teflon will fall apart from the oil.
