5700....usually if you go any higher you will smack the rev limiter...

Cruising or dragging?

I speed shift at 6,000. If you don't learn to shift right, you will hit the rev limiter. But done right, you shouldn't have a problem.

I have about the same mods as you and I wind my 98 formula to about 6100 before i shift..on the newer 00-02 I here they will hit the rev limiter a little earler..but for me, and my noticed best results I like to make sure I am on the downside of the power band (much easier on the trans, dont bang **** as much) and I am in the meat of my power band when I get back in the next gear

I highly recommend getting a shift light. The stock tach is a POS! I have my shiftlight set at 5.8K.
