Eagle rod question

Eagle rod question I've got a set of on-center eagle rods and the big end thrust surfaces are not machined . Why not since the factory rods are or do i have a bad set ? Eagle told me they are that way and will be ok . Kinda hard to check side clearances if thay are . Thanks if anyone can help

More info : they have a chamfer on one side and part # crs 6125 bso on them . Just makin sure before they go in i dont have mis packed parts . The # on the box is right .
