Default Switching computer's between years

Ok a friend of mine "street racer" Mike
is dynoing his car next week.
Its a 99. After he dynos with his computer,
Can we use mine on his car to try agian?
Mine is a 2000 with Ed wright tunning.
Both of the cars are 6spds, with similar
mods

Unfortunately, I don't think so. I've read before that GM changes the pin locations around on the computers from year to year. One year a pin might be the knock sensor and the next its a coolant sensor.(just an example)

I'm not 100% sure about this but I know somebody else will either back me up or shoot me down here shortly. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">
