Default T-stat question

Will a thermostat from an LT1 work in an LS1 or the reverse flow require a different design. I got a 180 from a friend and if it will work then great. <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">

No, a t-stat from an LT1 will not work in an LS1. The LS1 t-stat incorporates the complete "housing", so to speak, with the neck for the hose to connect to. The LT1 t-stat is just that...the t-stat and nothing else.
