Can any of the after market pistions be put in without balancing the rotation ***. I am trying to keep the price down.

i dont think so. i had mine new rotating assembly balanced and it cost like 250.00. it was about 50gram out of balance to begin with and it finished up being being less than 2 tenths of a gram balanced

DONT GO CHEAP ON YOUR MACHINE WORK!!! MOST IMPORTANT THING!!!
