How many cubes with iron block? How many cubes can you get out of the 6 liter iron block? Just curious for future plans <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">
Re: How many cubes with iron block? Keeping in mind that the stock LS1 bore is a 3.900, you can easily go 4.040 with a 6 liter iron block. If you find a really good block with minimal coreshift you can go with more bore.
I have a 4.060 6 liter block with a 4.075 Lunati crank, works out to about a 418ci. I don't think I would really run much more stroke than this for my car.
